We are excited to introduce weekly Jazz Jam Sessions starting Wednesday September 4th in an effort to help provide as many “CREATIVE” venues and opportunities for young and experienced Jazz musicians to work on their craft. Jazz Jam Sessions will held every Wednesday from 8:30pm until 11:30pm, and will be run and hosted by 2023 Cincinnati Jazz Hall of Fame Inductee Mike Wade. Jazz musicians that choose to sit in will receive your first drink is on the house and we will offer drink specials all night long. We have a lot of fun stuff going on at Juniper’s this week. A staff favorite, the Sip n Shop Summer Market is this Thursday August 22nd. 10 local and fun vendors will be setting up shop from 6pm-9pm. Made from classic aromatic bitanicals and anchored by foraged eastern hemlock and angelica, Pinnix Gin is perfect for cocktails that require a bright, herbaceous and balanced base spirit. Eda Rhyne's Pinnix Gin isnnamed in honor of owner/distiller Rett Murphy's great grandmother. Alma Pinnix, a brilliant business woman and avid gardener. Alma loved gardening so much that she outgrew her own property and soon started sewing seeds into unused public land around Greensboro, NC. She planted gardens along roadsides, abandoned buildings, and forgotten spaces as a pioneer of "guerrilla gardening." Her vision and commitment eventually earned her the recognition and help of the city of Greensboro, and now many of those original gardens are still maintained by the city, who named a popular street after her.
